If you are a print subscriber to Capricious Magazine and subscribed either by mail, phone or online, we may exchange or rent your name and mailing address (but not your e-mail address) with other reputable companies that offer marketing information or products through direct mail. If you prefer that we do not share this information, you may opt-out.
We do not use your information for purposes incompatible with those listed above. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personally identifiable information you provide on www.becapricious.com with other entities who are acting on our behalf for the uses described in this policy. 7. How do I opt-out from receiving promotional offers?

Online Promotions: If, at any time, you prefer not to receive e-mail marketing information from us, simply follow the unsubscribe options at the bottom of each e-mail, or feel free to email us at: questions@becapricious.com and provide your e-mail address along with the promotional offer from which you would like to unsubscribe.
Offline Promotions: If, at any time, you prefer not to receive traditional mail or telephone solicitations originated by Capricious, LLC and its third party affiliates, please e-mail us at questions@becapricious.com or write to us at Capricious, LLC, Customer Service, 103 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211. If you are a current magazine subscriber, please remember to include your account number and phone number in the body of your e-mail or letter, and if you choose to opt-out via e-mail, please put "Opt-out" in the subject line.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information, we employ commercially reasonable efforts at our offices to safeguard and secure the information we obtain from our subscribers.

9. Children’s Guidelines

Our website is not directed to children and we will not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to use our website to provide us with any personally-identifying information. Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, birthdates, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers) over the Internet.
